When it comes to finding the perfect spot for a night out in Lanzarote, the options are endless. Having explored this vibrant volcanic island on numerous occasions, I have had the pleasure of discovering some truly remarkable bars that offer not only an exceptional atmosphere but also a wide range of tantalizing drinks.

From lively beach front venues to cozy hidden gems tucked away in quaint towns, here is my personal list of the best bars in Lanzarote that will surely add an extra touch of magic to your evenings on this stunning Canary Island.

1. El Chupadero

I recently visited El Chupadero Bar in La Geria,and I must say that it is one of the best places on the island for a night out. This great bar is located in a beautiful area, and the views are breathtaking, especially during sunset. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the music is perfect to unwind and enjoy your drinks.

One of the things that stood out for me at El Chupadero was the extensive wine list. The bar has an impressive selection of wines, and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful in recommending the perfect wine to complement your meal. They also have a good selection of cocktails and other drinks, and the prices are reasonable.

The food at El Chupadero is also worth mentioning. The menu features Mediterranean and Spanish cuisine, and the tapas are a must-try. I particularly enjoyed the garlic prawns.

2. Dickens Cocktail Bar

The first thing that caught my attention at the Dickens Cocktail Bar in Teguise was the extensive selection of cocktails on offer. From classic mojitos and piña coladas to more unique creations with honey rum, there was something for every visitor. I particularly enjoyed the Strawberry Daiquiri, which was expertly mixed and served with fresh fruit.

In addition to cocktails, Dickens also offers a wide range of other drinks, including beers, wines, and spirits such as gin and tonic. The waiters are very friendly, and were happy to make recommendations based on my preferences.

One of the things that sets the Dickens bar apart from other bars in the area is its entertainment offerings. There was live music on the night I visited, which added to the already lively atmosphere. The bar also screens sports games on a large TV, which is a great option for travellers who want to catch up on their favourite teams while on holiday.

The bar itself is situated in a prime location in Teguise, with beautiful views of the surrounding area. The outdoor seating area is particularly pleasant, and is a great spot to enjoy a drink and some tapas in the sunshine.

In terms of price, Dickens is fairly reasonable for the quality of drinks and entertainment on offer. While it may be slightly more expensive than some of the other bars in Costa Teguise, the overall experience is well worth it at one of the best bars on the island.

3. Ancla2 Beach Bar

In my opinion, the Ancla2 Beach Bar in Tias, Puerto Del Carmen, is one of the best Lanzarote bars. The bar has a great location by the shore, and the views are spectacular. The bar is located in the C.C.Aquarium, Floor -3, and it is open every day from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm.

The bar offers a wide range of drinks, including cocktails, Heineken beer, and wines. The cocktails are expertly mixed, and they taste amazing. The bar also has a great selection of baguettes, which are perfect for a quick snack. The food is reasonably priced, and the quality is excellent.

The music played at the Ancla2 Bar is fantastic, and the DJ knows how to keep the crowd entertained. The bar has a great atmosphere, and it is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day.

4. The Irish Rover

A few months ago I visited The Irish Rover Bar in Tias, and it's safe to say that it's one of the best bars on the island of Lanzarote. The bar has a lively atmosphere and it's clear that the staff are passionate about providing a top-notch experience for their customers.

The bar offers a large range of drinks, including Guinness, which is always a plus. They also have a good selection of food, including delicious fries and pizza. The bar has a the best views of the surrounding area, which is perfect for taking in the sights while enjoying a drink in Lanzarote.

One of the things that sets The Irish Rover Bar apart from other bars on the Canarian island is their live music. Dave, the resident musician, is incredibly talented and adds to the already great vibe of the bar. The bar also hosts other live bands, which is a great way to experience the local music scene.

The bar has a strong Irish influence, which is evident in the decor and the friendly staff. The craic is always good at The Irish Rover Bar, and it's a great place to meet new people and have a good time.

5. Bar La Cueva

Visiting Bar La Cueva Delagomar in Nazaret, is an experience worth sharing. Located inside a volcano, this bar is situated in the Lagomar complex, which was once owned by film star Omar Sharif. The cave-like bar is part of the original design by César Manrique and Jesús Soto, with staircases, lookouts, and chimneys twirling around a pale-turquoise pool.

The bar opens at 6 pm and is open from Tuesday to Sunday until the early hours of the morning. The atmosphere is lively, and the music is fantastic, with live music and DJ sets offered.

The food served at La Cueva is pretty good too. The restaurant serves a variety of dishes, and the prices are fair. The waiters are friendly and know about the menu and the drinks, making it a pleasant experience.

6. Beach Bar Luca

I recently bumped into Beach Bar Luca in Teguise harbour, and it did not disappoint. This beachfront bar is located in the Melia Salinas Hotel, and it boasts incredible sea views that are hard to beat.

The atmosphere at the Luca bar is relaxed and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to unwind with a cocktail or two. Speaking of cocktails, they are definitely a highlight at this bar. The bartenders are skilled and creative, and they whip up some of the best cocktails I've ever had. From classic mojitos to unique creations.

In addition to the cocktails, the food at the Luca is also worth mentioning. The menu features Spanish food with a modern twist, and everything we tried was delicious. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but the quality of the food and drinks is well worth it.

One thing that sets Bar Luca apart from other bars in the area is the live music. On certain nights, there are live bands or DJs playing, adding to the already lively atmosphere. It's the perfect place to dance the night away with friends.

7. La Delicatezza Cocktail Bar

La Delicatezza Cocktail Bar in Tias is a great place to go for anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable cocktail experience.

The bar also has a great video of a guy making cocktails in a way you've never seen before, which adds to the overall experience.

While Bar La Delicatezza is primarily a cocktail bar, it also serves food. The menu offers a range of the best tapas, which are perfect for sharing with friends. I highly recommend the patatas bravas, which were crispy and delicious.

In terms of views, this bar is located in Puerto Del Carmen, which is right by the beach, where you can enjoy amazing views of the ocean.

8. Tiny Bar

9. Starcaf @ Rooftop Biosfera

If you're searching for a rooftop bar with stunning views from the terrace overlooking the Atlantic ocean, Starcaf @ Rooftop Biosfera is one of the best rooftop bars in Lanzarote. Situated on the cinema side of the rooftop, the exclusive outdoor terrace offers a relaxed atmosphere, where you can enjoy fabulous food from their extensive menu.

Starcaf is not only a bar, but it also has a lounge area where you can enjoy refreshing cocktails, Spanish vino, a pint of beer, and non-alcoholic options. The bar has a great selection of signature sandwiches, salads, burgers, and pizzas. The Lanzarote burger is a must-try, with 200gr burger, rockets, caramelized onion, and goat cheese. If you're a vegetarian, the veggie burger is another great option, with lettuce, tomato, courgette, and onion.

10. The Bucket List Bar

The Bucket List Bar in Puerto Del Carmen, is located in a prime spot, just a short walk from the beach, and offers fabalous views of the Atlantic ocean. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly bar lady who made me feel welcome.

Bar The Bucket List  is known for its reasonably priced cocktails and spirits. I tried their signature cocktail, the Bucket List, and it was delicious. The bar also serves food, including steak and ice cream, which I didn't try but looked appetizing. The atmosphere was great, with music playing in the background, and it was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a drink.

One thing that stood out to me was how clean the bar was. It was spotless, and the bar lady was constantly wiping down surfaces and making sure everything was in order. The Bucket List Bar is definitely a place I would recommend for anyone looking for a chill night out in Lanzarote.
