How to get to the Unico hotel in Madrid

The easiest and most economic method is via metro. After landing at Madrid-Barajas Airport, head over to the airport's Metro station, located in Terminal 2. Purchase a ticket to Retiro station from one of the ticket machines. Hop on Line 8 (pink) to Nuevos Ministerios, here you will change to Line 6 (grey) for one short stop to Gregorio Marañón, where you'll switch again to Line 7 (orange) to Avenida de America. The Unico Hotel is only a short ten-minute walk away. Remember, Madrid's metro system operates from 6:00 am to 2:00 am, so plan your travel accordingly.

If you prefer a taxi. As you exit the airport, you'll find the taxi rank just outside the arrivals area. All official Madrid taxis are white with a red band on the front doors, so they're easy to spot. Expect to pay approximately €30, but be aware that a small supplement may be charged for each piece of luggage and for services on weekends or public holidays. It's a straightforward 20-minute drive from the airport to Hotel Unico.
