A while back I stayed at the Ibis Styles City hotel in Basel. I found this budget hotel to be a great value for its price point. The modern rooms were large and modernly decorated with a flat screen TV, a mini-fridges, and very comfortable beds. Every morning there was a delicious breakfast buffet waiting with plenty of options to choose from that was included in the room rate. Even better, hotel Ibis offers complimentary Wi-Fi throughout all of its facilities which made it easier to stay connected while on vacation.
The location of the hotel is also very convenient; it’s situated just steps away from the Basel train station and within a few minutes walking distance from many local landmarks such as the Basel Old Town Square, Rathaus, the Town hall and Munster Cathedral.
