I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Belmond La Residencia and it was the best luxury experience one could imagine. This luxury resort is situated in the charming village of Deià, nestled in the Tramuntana mountains, and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

As soon as I arrived, I was struck by the hotel's bohemian spirit and artistic flair. The property is adorned with original artworks and sculptures, and the on-site art gallery is a must-see for any art lover. The hotel also boasts two outdoor swimming pools, a fitness center, tennis courts and a spa, ensuring that guests have everything they need to unwind and relax.

The accommodation at La Residencia is equally impressive. The holiday resort features 67 rooms and suites, each individually decorated with antique furnishings and original artwork. I stayed in a Deluxe Room with a Terrace, which offered amazing views of the mountains and the village below. The room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably designed, with all the amenities one would expect from a luxury hotel.

One of the highlights of my stay at La Residencia was undoubtedly the dining experience. The hotel has two restaurants, El Olivo and Son Fony, both of which serve delicious Mediterranean cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients. I particularly enjoyed dining al fresco on the terrace, overlooking the mountains and the sea.

3. Hotel Nixe Palace

Hotel Nixe Palace is a 5-star hotel-spa located in the center of Palma de Majorca, right in front of the white sandy beach. The hotel offers magnificent sea views and exclusive customised services for a luxurious stay.

The property has an old town feel but is updated with modern amenities. The staff is incredible and very welcoming, providing excellent service throughout the stay. The private pool is small but great, and there are several terraces that feature sweeping views of the ocean.

The Nixe Palace is located very close to the heart of Palma, allowing guests to enjoy the cultural, commercial, sporting and maritime atmosphere of the city. The beach area is fantastic, and there are several good restaurants nearby.

For golf fanatics, the Nixe’s specialized golf department offers trips to local golf courses such as Son Vida and Son Muntaner.

Last year I had the pleasure of staying at Boutique Hotel Can Alomar during my trip to Mallorca, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. This adults-only resort is located in the capital city Palma de Majorca, making it an ideal choice for those who want to be close to the city's best tourist attractions.

One of the standout features of the Can Alomar hoetl is its terrace, which offers stunning views of Palma's shopping and artistic center. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious meal or drink while taking in the beautiful surroundings. Speaking of food, the hotel's restaurant, De Tokio A Lima, serves up imaginative fusion cuisine that is sure to please even the most discerning palate.

The hotel itself is housed in a 19th-century neo-gothic palace that is considered a historic landmark. The building's spectacular facades are a sight to behold, and the interior is just as impressive. There are just 16 rooms and suites, which makes for a more intimate and romantic atmosphere.

During my stay, I had the pleasure of staying in the Can Ferrereta suite, which was spacious and elegantly decorated. The room featured all the amenities one could ask for, including free Wi-Fi, a minibar, and a flat-screen TV.

In terms of location, Hotel Can Alomar couldn't be better situated. It's just a short walk from some of the city's best attractions, including the Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma, the Royal Palace of La Almudaina, and the Plaza Mayor.

One of the best Majorca hotels, El Llorenç Parc De La Mar is situated in the heart of the historical district La Calatrava, just a stone's throw away from the seafront and the Palma La Seu Cathedral.
