One of the things that stood out to me about the Petra Segreta hotel was the exceptional cuisine. The resort's restaurant, Il Fuoco Sacro, was awarded a Michelin star in 2023 and is reigned over by chef and owner Luigi Bergeretto. His creative kitchen also serves the Osteria del Mirto and its new open-air extension, the Terrazza del Mirto. The food was absolutely delicious and I was blown away by the flavors and presentation.
The hotel also boasts a modern spa and wellness centre, and a large, heated pool, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Sardinia. For those looking for even more relaxation, the resort offers suites with private pools, adding an extra level of luxury to your stay.

4. Capo d'Orso
Located on the north coast of Sardinia, Capo D'Orso is situated in a prime location with amazing views across the sea and nearby La Maddalena Archipelago.
The villa itself is spacious and well-equipped, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. The flat-screen TV with satellite channels and free Wi-Fi kept me entertained during my downtime. I particularly enjoyed spending time on the balcony, which offered breathtaking views of the garden and sea.
