If public transport isn't what you prefer after a long flight, a taxi is the answer. Upon exiting the airport, a myriad of water taxis can be seen, ready to take you directly to the Gritti Palace Hotel.

They also had heated towel rods and floors in the bathroom with full shower and soaking tub. The bar and restaurant were excellent and do not skip out on the Venetian to order and buffet breakfast. Staff was very helpful with suggestions, accommodations, and helping us set up taxis and ferry rides. It was an amazing way to spend our anniversary.
